Crash while loading and in game!

Hi folks,

I'm a old player coming back and trying to use my old player
but sometimes while the game is loading it gives me a:
psclient_static error and shut downs the game.

Also when I have been playing for few minutes this just
pops up and gives me the same error:

psclient_static

what is your os what are your system stats, what map are you loading what race is your char, i would off hand suggest it might be related to http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/flyspray/index.php?do=details&task_id=1749
if you have windows you could look at

Thanks for the help!

I suppose it could be my graphics card.. I'm using a omega driver
from omegadrivers.net, for ATI

I tried to update it but it didn't work.

Also my graphics card is just 64mb but I have always been able to
play the game with this same computer.  The only thing that isn't
in top standard is the graphics card so "maybe" it could be happening
because of the Radeon card I'm using.

I had actually done the sound card change on my own and after I
did that I didn't even get past "loading word"

I have been reading all the posts here and it always seems things work
the exact opposite for me

I'll try to do my best and if nothing works I'll just have too update my
computer

please answer my questions they were asked for a reason, and a 64 mb graphics card might not be enough to play the game with all settings as default.

I'm using xp home sp3
4ghz
1gb memory

I can't remember the name of the map, but when you are at the
T road where you take a right to the magic shop and then a
left to the forest...  I took a left last time and I'm somewhere
close to a HUGE stone building.

I'm the big orange guy (Ynnwn I believe is the name)

Instead of saying just "never mind I fixed it" like so many
others in this forum, without telling people how they fixed
the problem... I'm going to tell you how I did it!

I talked to a game master while playing the game in another
computer and they just told me to do this and it worked.

Right click on the planeshift updater file and click on properties.

There add -repair to the end so it looks like this:

"C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Steel Blue\psupdater.exe" -repair

Then run the updater... problem fixed... for ME
