3D immersive world, apparently being developed as a music delivery system. Its all roleplay lol. Clubs and dancing. Not standard 3D, more like a "Through a Scanner Darkly" 3D. Very interesting to check out.

Make dance, not war. Start with a game that is all about combat, and you end with a game that is all about combat. Take a note of that, Talad.

The ultimate game; highly recommended to anyone who's a huge fan of Tyra Banks.

A good review

TYRA UPDATE

    * The Tyra Virtual Studio is no longer part of vSide
o We still love Tyra, but her virtual studio has floated out to sea

There is also a macro language for describing dance actions. Plants that grow. You can design clothes and earn VSide money.

Its interesting... but too Brave New World for me. I keep looking around for a sword.

Ah that is good news.

vSide is all about stupid animations that loop repeatedly.

Who needs a sword when you can windmill?

To be precise, the basic set of dances is about 100 that loop endlessly. The point is that the dance actions can be referenced in an internal scripting language that is open to the users. That means that dances are programmed by the users. The ones that show in the interface are just the starting ones. In addition to dances, these include all of the standard emotes you would expect plus quite a few more. The range of expression that is present in the interface is impressive. This is truly a roleplaying interface, although the lack of various game mechanics... well, lets just say I got some looks when I was asking if I could purchase weaponry in game. Now, I don't "like" this game. I spent about an hour in game reviewing the features and how it worked so as I could make precise statements about it elsewhere. For around 150 megs for the download, its an impressive little application. They have to be planning to take this to a pay basis after beta, there is a lot of engineering work in there.
