Tadano: it was an idea for a GM event (hence in this thread).

I'm sure if they didn't want to run the event themselves they would be prepared to /slide a few of us just underground a bit around a GH we own.

The fun of events is the unexpected content.

Writing ideas here in public might already be a spoiler for them...

Would the developers (especially the Settings and GM teams) prefer an anonymous way to submit suggestions?

Some of the ideas here are very good, but I agree with LigH that this isn't the right place to put up your thoughts as events are meant to be unexpected. If you know the result and way to do an event, it is no fun. Posting here will only make your brilliant ideas worthless as there will be very less chance that the GM/Settings team will do an event about which the citizen know. I would advice you to write the event script nicely, and send it to a GM.

Or are they already certain that they don't need any suggestions, because they are brilliant enough for the next years? (No offense - just one question among several.)

We are constantly doing work on a newer event and we always welcome suggestions from players, and now I will surely be waiting for some suggestions from you.  :)

During the 2 years or so I was a GM helping with Player led events was not allowed and as far as I know this policy hasn't been changed. The main reason was to avoid accusations of favouritism and increasing an already heavy workload, namely to avoid the first one would have to help every player that requested help, it would also invoke the competition clause, whereby a GM assisted player event would directly compete with a non-assisted event.
Q: What can a GM not do for me?

It is the goal of the GM team to help a player with any possible situation as long as:

  • It would not constitute favoritism or compete with activities conducted by players in the game.
For example, GMs will not give out items unless part of an RP quest or event. We cannot give items upon request for every player in the game, so it is unfair to do it for a few. This would also interfere with player economy and the worth of items.

As an aside I would also recommend making suggestions in PM to either GM's or Settings, not much fun if everyone already knows the storyline
