Download Issues
« on: December 12, 2009, 02:42:00 am »
I'm trying to download the 0.5 through frostwire, but unfortunatly it says that it needs more sources for some reason. I have seen in one of my previous posts that someone offers a direct download but this doesn't work for me because I only have access to Dial up connection and I can't keep it up 24/7 more over it often crashes thus making me need to start the download all over again... Anyone has a solution for me? Please??

DIAL-UP?!!!!! ppl still use that in north america???!!!

a usb flash drive /w @least 2gig (they're cheep these days)
and a library or Internet cafe using a direct download.
honestly, that is the best solution for you.

unless you can hop on to a wireless network, which is easy , and wireless receivers are dirt cheap too

The torrent will resume from where he left off, so he can start and stop it at will

I'm using dial up connection because I live so far from town that nothing else reaches including the USB drive for wireless internet, as for a cyber café or anything like that there are none at least than 2 hours of drive from my place which is very expancive. Anyways, the server was down which is why I couldn't use the torrent and now I have a download manager which will allow me to restore broken downloads without losing the files predownloaded so I will use direct download. Thanks for trying to help.
