psclient.exe and pslaunch.exe crashing!

Alright, the topic fits - I have a problem to start PS since last night... I don't know what happened...

Actually I only wanted to relog because some NPCs wouldn't show up and the game started to get laggy.
So I went to quit PS, but just when I quit I had a critical error...

when I try to restart now, the following happens:
- The game appears to load normally, will connect, load world (appropriate part, depending on character), but after "loading GUI" is shown, the game seems to freeze (not responding).
What has happened?
I tried to check for file integrity, which had 2 fixes (in art/zip and in psclient.cfg), but after repairing, the problem stays the same.

My system:

AMD Sempron 2.2 GHz CPU
1.5 GB RAM (yay, finally!)
Windows XP
Radeon 9200 Graphic card

Okay, thx to a hint from jorrit it seems to work again... I just deleted the /appdata/Planeshift folder... somewhere ther must have been some serious bug... just don't know where exactly.

No, it does not. I believe your pslaunch.exe will still work; and this forum area is for crashes where you don't even get to the login screen (which you could pass).

I wonder if a moderator is able to cut your question off to another thread.
