EZ ping times.

I am wondering why the ping times have increased so much for EZ, it used to come in at 125-160 but now seems to be upwards of 500. Tonight when I looked it started at about 150 and then immediately jumped to 560-600. It seems to have started after the new mobs got put on, is the cpu being taxed such that the networking is being degraded?

hmm a direct ping gives:

PING planeshift.ezpcusa.com (70.167.49.20) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from wsip-70-167-49-20.ks.ks.cox.net (70.167.49.20): icmp_seq=1 ttl=53 time=93.4 ms

so why is the client showing up above 500? Laanx is in the 350 range where it has always been.

PING laanx.fragnetics.com (137.132.243.67) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 137.132.243.67: icmp_seq=1 ttl=49 time=303 ms

It looks like the game adds about 50ms in overhead.

ya thats what i dont get, the ping for laanx has been going between 270-350 like always, but skyrocketed for ez
i dont think it could be new mobs becuase those were put in on both servers...
