Why is everything so... um can i swear here.. lets just say... crapish expensive?

well its a good thing its not like a mug for 4 rybys beacuse that makes us go out lookin for more gems  
but 500 rubys for one mug is just a lilltle to much i think
and a weapon cost you at least 1000 rubys wich will take weeks to get for many people.

I do agree with you on this point. However, it may be as such merely to continue the rarity of these items, so that not everyone is running around with a sword. Weapons are intended to be a sign of dedicated players (with lots of time on their hands ), in my opinion. I myself have yet to get a weapon.

yeah i thought of that to...  I think bigger weapons like swords shuld be hard to get.. in the middle ages the sword was the weapon of a rich man. Also expensive weapons make the players that canot afford weapons more like civilians and iy wuld be kinda cool to have players that needed help form other  players.

True, but i would find it very disturbing to have to play for weeks just to get a sword with which i could start adventuring. Quite a bummer for newbies who want to start slashing right away...

I think Valfaran has hit on it fairly correctly.  Since we only have a limited selection of items at the moment it makes sense to try to keep them fairly \'rare\' in order making the goal of getting one  a nice feeling.

Braggin\' rights count for a lot in games like this and we hope to encourage that

but how about a few more spawn sites for crystals or spawning a bit faster

you know for people who like playing the game but actually....well you know do the following

eat
sleep
work
have a girlfriend(they need alot of attention otherwise she starts bitchin at me )
or generally have .... a life
