Do I need to re-register?

I made an account back in one of the early releases, and I think the last release I played was Crystal Blue. I can't remember my account information, but assuming I find it again, do I need to make a new account now that so many changes have been implemented? (Or maybe it's because there's a new server? I can't remember the name of the old one).

Were old accounts purged?

if you played during crystal blue you dont need a new account, you just need to choose the right server [being RP or Non-RP] and remember the email/password

Try to ask weltall in the PlaneShift related IRC channels on FreeNode. He should be able to check if your account still exists.

Your matching server will probably be the roleplaying one (currently ZeroPing).

Thanks to both of you, as well. I do indeed still have an account. I got the new client downloaded, found my old account information, updated the server, and I've been enjoying ooh-ing and ahh-ing at the abundance of quests.
