Ads on Forums?

I know this game is 100% free and I am ever grateful for this, but why doesn't Planeshift put ads on maybe the sides of their forums? It could give Planeshift a tiny bit of funding when they need it etc. I personally wouldn't find it a bother, maybe others would... But I could only see more good come out of it than bad. If this has already been addressed, I am sorry.

Im not sure where money goes, to PS.
Mabey it goes towards Server upgrades? more RAM ect. IDK I doubt talad would just distribute it to devs as pay XD

It's not directly or explicitly related to either a site hack spreading a virus or a fraudulent report as malicious website.

As far as I remember, the tested Google Ad area went offline (possibly due to detected click abuse).

There have been expressions of jealousy against the PlaneShift project, and there will be. Sometimes subtle, sometimes illegal.

It surprising how many people actually know about planeshift.
Go to somwhere, a forum or some game site or somthing with chat, and ask if anyone played planeshift, 1 out of 15 say I have.
I dunno if the website for the server, that runs for RP is the same as for laanx, but i remember checking the site whenever laanx went offline, and it would say there were some 200 thousand accounts or somthing like that.
Point is, the people that do say yeah i have, dont have much positive to say :\
