Something to enjoy
« on: June 21, 2011, 02:57:06 am »
Wanted to showcase some of my handiness with musical instruments

Kashmir is not mine, nor is Cantiga 119.  I just played them for yall's enjoyment.  Let me know what you think.  I'm trying to become part of the Music Dev Team.

Very nice.   How many strings on your bass?   I have 7 on mine.  I noticed some very nice arppegios not to unlike the ones I did on the Xiosia Dakkru, but you took them to a far higher plane. Very nice.  Congrats on becoming the Dev Team music man.  I look forward to hearing what you bring.

I liked parts of the piece and also noted similarities to the one by Lady Crankenstein, although not really knowing musical terms and such myself could not have explained why very clearly.
When I listen, the music seems to go beyond the capabilities of my headphones because there seems to be a lot of reverberation? ...like a broken speaker makes. I don't know if it was intended that way or if it's in the file or just how my computer plays it back, but those parts don't sound good to me.

Overall though, I see you have talent and congratulate you on your acceptance to the dev. team.

you're rushing it, and your amp is too loud, the distortion is not needed...

in the middle part (around 2 min) there are false notes too, at the end there are other false notes (around 3m 30)

(this is positive cristisism)

It's not him, it's the recording software.
