Whenever I open planeshift on my new computer the load screens are completely black aside from the bar at the bottom, and the login screen is just two rectangles on a brown screen. I can load a map but once its finished, all I can see is myself and the world, but all windows including the chatbox are too transparent to use. Turning down the transparency doesnt fix it either. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I appreciate any ideas.

Facts, facts, facts - as usual. Always the same request: Tell us about your hardware as much as you can.

My current guess: Intel integrated graphics with original Microsoft drivers?

Well, then, first step to try, as already suggested dozens of times: Install the most current driver from the chipset manufacturer.

Never rely on Microsoft graphic drivers when you want to run OpenGL based programs. Microsoft does not support OpenGL well, it prefers Direct3D - their own API.
