I would just like to put a thread out there where all guilds can post their goals and expectations so people who are not in a guild can see what guilds they might work well with.

Shadowhand is a Rogue Guild. We accept all rogue types (assassins, thieves, even rangers etc...). We also accept thieves / warriors or rogues / mages ...

We are a secret Guild : the server will know who belong to Shadowhand, contrary to other players. (I got a special command for secret guilds   )

Our main goals : to work together, exploring the unknown areas, streets and building up a net of contacts through the hierarchy of Planeshift.

The BISM

We are not so much as a guild, more like an organization. We are a group of people that joined
together to get certain things done.We can be hired by persons or guilds to perform jobs for them. We have several factions you can join, each faction will have their own structure and leaders. In time each faction will have their own website. Allthough the factions will not operate independently, every faction survives through the other faction which assists it, one cannot live without the other.
As a member you will be able to perform the various jobs the Bism offers to it\'s members, which in turn are offered to the Bism by people outside the Bism (not necessarily). Ofcourse the jobs will be giving to it\'s appropriate faction to perform. You will get paid a certain percentage on completion of the job.
Also notable is the fact that Bism let\'s you join a guild on the side, since we aren\'t a guild ourselves we can allow this. Plus that, if you prefer, you can keep your membership a secret to the outside world, only BISM council members will know your affiliation with us.

The BISM has been around a long time, one of the oldest around i might add. We have around 35 members, allthough things are in a bit of a disarray at the moment since we changed websites and there are (were) certain issues to work out regarding member applications. So the member list is rather small as of yet.

Anyway, if you want something new, something original, want to get rich, or even if you just don\'t know yet which guild you want to join, the BISM can offer solutions in all these situations. Join us and decide later which guild you want to join, you will get some money on the side while you\'re at it. This could offer some great opportunities to you and lots of fun.

EDIT: I\'d like to point out that everyone who is looking for a guild can visit Kada-El\'s theBBB, which has a complete list of guilds in PS. (Also do visit Kada-El\'s Tavern in-game sometime, the drinks are free for everyone. )

We seek to make free the path of those who would set out on the road of discovery in the realms of PlaneShift. Our knowledge of the land\'s secrets is paramount. Our free information network means Explorers will have all wisdom at their fingertips.

Our Ideal:

Long ago before the Elves settled Yliakum or the Great Temple took form on its edge, the Dermorian people were driven from their home by a ruthless horde of pitiless mounted raiders. It was a harsh road through barren lands and endless caverns before they reached Yliakum. Only the strong survived and the Dermorians were hardened as race.

It is our hope that our wide exploration of the great Stone Labyrinths and beyond will one day bring us back to the surface of PlaneShift, where a New Dermoria can be founded. Here, those of us who still remember the starlit sky and the taste of the hunt, can again take up the bow and spear, and we will never again be driven from our home.

Although this is primarily a Dermorian ideal and not necessarily shared by all Explorers, all will be welcome in the New Dermoria. When this time comes all Dermorians will be contented of heart; those who wish to settle will settle, but the Explorers will live forever!

Well summer vacation is here and the fso will soon be back to its active old self, - me as im leaving for 6 weeks on a vacation. anyway

FSO, we believe in selecting only the cream of the crop. Our soul purpose is survival. We strive towards independance. Mining our own ore, making our own weapons, earning our own money. Internally we are a welcoming community, always helping eachother out. Watching eachothers backs, never betraying another guild member. We are neutral, meaning we don\'t take the side of good nor evil, we only do what is needed to survive. Although, for now, since the world of Planeshift is still young, we act more as a external community. Living outside Planeshift, and in. So, that is the constitution, if you will, of FSO. We hope to see you all on Planeshift.
