Mark Topics as Read

Not a wish for the game, but one for this forum:

I'd appreciate a way to mark individual topics as read to make those I don't want to eventually read disappear from my "Show unread posts since last visit" page. Currently, the only way I know of to do so is to visit each one. The "Mark as Read" button seems useless to me because it just marks every topic on the entire page as read. If there is already a way to accomplish this, I've not found it.

An idividual "mark as read" would be awesome.

umm show unread posts  The last field of the thread titles is a selection check box, check the threads you do not want to see then click on mark selected read button.

Personally I usually just open the threads I want to look at in new tabs then mark everything read.

It could be nice to mark a thread as read permanently, so that even future posts on the topic don't show up in the "unread posts since last visit" page.  But it's not urgent or anything.

Bilbous, I don't see any check boxes in the last field using Safari or Firefox on Mac. The last field I have on that page is a link button to the last post for each topic. Nor is there any mark selected read button.

The main reason I want this feature is because I no way have time to read everything I want to in the same day yet want to keep the list as short as possible when I have a look.

go to profile->settings -> look and feel and see if quick moderation is turned off. it should be the last option on the page

Show quick-moderation as (dropbox containing items [don't show|checkboxes|icons] )
