Help installing on Ubuntu 12.04

'm on 64 bit Ubuntu 12.04, and downloaded the 64 bit linux installer for planeshift. I ran the update, I clicked repair and it downloaded missing files supposedly. But still when I go to enter the actual world, the game crashes back to the launcher. This is the error in the log:

It apparently says some stuff is missing, there's not even a userdata folder in planeshifts folder. How am I installing this wrong? The repair button doesn't think those files are missing.

Help. I want to play.

A full log might be more interesting. None of the errors (missing files) should be fatal. Those errors just mean it's the first time you start PS and that there is no user configuration yet. And don't mind the "userdata" folder. That's from the virtual filesystem PS uses. In linux that "userdata" is actually ~/.PlaneShift.

Some general infos on your system could help as well. For example with less than 2GB RAM you will have serious problems to get PS to start. And with intel gfx cards it's also more a game of chance if you can get in game.
