It does still happen

Look at that, you can get more than 5 RPers in kadas and have them do more than prop up the walls. Everyone in this picture was RPing at the time it was taken.

I fail to see how this is in any way new.

Less new, more uncommon. If kada's kept this amount of people regularly, you would have more people hanging around since it would look like there is more life. Although I do see some people running about Hydlaa most of the time now. It's not the ghost town it sometimes feels like. It's nice to see RPing at Harns too since it reminds me of when it used to be an RPing hub.

Ive never not seen people in Kada Els, though it is now a horrendous lag spot for some players (me included)

He's right, actually. It's not new at all, especially not on a Friday night. Should have seen the like, ten people RPing around a dead body earlier. Happens all the time!  ;)

There's plenty of RP in PS. A lot of players just don't like hanging around taverns...

Oh sure there is RP. The problem is it being visible. Part of why people don't hang around is because it doesn't look like there is much going on unless there is a GM event. Especially compared to other mainstream mmos. However, 10 people RPing at once, around each other, is pretty good at any point. Although shame everyone got together for a sad occasion. ;)

And I might stick out that plenty of RP doesn't necesarily mean it looks like you can jump in, even when it's at the tavern*cough*especially when you are playing a difficult, but improving ;), character*cough*. However, it's good to know it's there even when the player count is low. I should go back to Danao though, he is easier to play with a wider variety of characters.

Okay, Illysia, I was not able to reach the 5 (mainly due to the daytime, the player base was small), but I was close. And to your disappointment, the reason was just a "Bruce Darnell Plot"* (Drama, drama, drama) involving dead corpses and bloody writings...

What counts much to me was the thankful conclusion from Akei, the Warrior, who thanked Kelan, Celizan and Esanor for his first impressive RP experience.

* Bruce Darnell is an english dark-skinned jury judge and coach in a german model casting show who emphasized the walking style of a catwalking model as "Drama, drama, drama - baby!"; I personally dislike that style of walking a lot, the serious up to annoyed expression in their faces, and the stalking like hammering the spike heels into the ground... the opposite of elegance.

Ah. yeah... I was surprised that there was so many people on that late. Normally Euro evening brings more people than American evening but not this time. I think there were more Americans on yesterday. However, as much as I dislike RP that involved death and/or maiming, for all my usual reasons, I am at least glad that people have a way to get more than two RPers together.

I am gradually finding the kind of RP I like so I shall be more content than in the past. But I stick out that drama is not my problem with certain RPs... Making the poor guards looks bad however...
