There are scripts to convert from Blender to a format that CS can use.  So if you use Blender and want to create objects for PlaneShift it should be possible.

thanks, i\'ll pass ...i\'m not much of a 3d artist, but i strongly encourage people to use blender, i play with it from time to time to try some things from the tutorials i get in LXF and i find it the most simple to comprehend and one of the more powerfull 3d renders i\'ve seen (it even has a game engine impemented :])

btw: it\'s open-sourced (->free) and cross-platform http://www.blender.org

even more as before ...they open-sourced it a year ago ...from then on they claim they are doing great!!! :] ...it\'s developing quite fast, and i hear some users say that it beats the crap out of maya (NO FLAME WAR!!! i just quoted some ex-maya now-blender users!!!) ...but it\'s still a personal choice (like gimp and photoshop)
