Memory leak?

Yo Shadowdancer --  I think you should post this under the::
\"Client is running slow ? Please contribute to this
      survey\"
thread. Either that or start a new thread, or rename this one with the title \"Memory Leak?\" lol.

I\'m having the same problem. I think they\'re probably related.

1ghz Intel P3
nVidia 32mb GeForce 2
blah blah..
Win ME
2 gigs of HD devoted to virtual paging.

Ooook.... I logged in once sucessfully, got into the world, had like.. > 1 FPS. Took maybe 20 minutes..

I closed the game through the exit/quit methods, and my system was still incredibly lagged... tried to open my dos shell, and got a \"System resources low\" or whatever. I\'m guessing theres a memory leak in there somewhere, and on top of that; for some reason it\'s loading one heck of a lot of data when you first enter the world.

My system runs descent 3, and Mechwarrior 4 better, even when they have the graphics maxed.

*shrugs* Everything is pure speculation on my part, but I\'d guess it\'s just loading way too many textures.
