Launcher Updates Not Showing

I am running PS on Linux Mint 15 Cinnamon and it runs great but there is one small glitch that is annoying. I can't see any update news in the launcher. The only news I have ever seen in the launcher is  "7-Oct-2012: We released a client update". I listed my update log below . I am guessing my problem is with updateservers.xml? The file is in the directory though and my user account has access to it. I have installed the program a few times to make sure it wasn't an install issue but it keeps coming up. I am actually not sure if that information is in the update.log or updateservers.xml at all. Please let me know if this is just my issue (if so, workaround?) or if I should post the bug. I didn't see anything posted on the bug reports about it. Thank you for your help.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that just maybe there hasn't been a new message since then. If you think you are not current you could try to repair it.
Mine says the same thing and reports 0.5.9.12 for the client version and 3.04 for the launcher version. Now the client claims to be 5.9.10 and there is a release note http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=41180.0 that claims 5.9.4 and a subsequent unnumbered announcement since then. I believe those are just server upgrades.

Now all I need to know is if those numbers in the pathway Eatuck posted are the correct update ....

The last update we had was to update the server.xml with the new server address. So if you can play the game you are up to date.

This "7-Oct-2012: We released a client update" is correct as it hasn't been updated by Talad for a long time, I just now asked him to change it. I'll keep pestering him until he does.

If you ever think you have a bug in updaterinfo.xml or updateservers.xml you just delete them and 'repair' the client and it will generate new ones for you. Repairs will also check to make sure everything is up to date.

Thanks everyone. I am glad it was just that the launcher message hasn't been updated in awhile and not a problem with my installation.

Modified - I thought that is where the update details (changes in the game) are put when a new update is released? I know it shows up on the forums some time after the update but it is nice to know what exactly changed at the time of the update. My fellow guild mates know what has changed by looking at that place in launcher but for some reason I can't. Is this a linux issue or is there some other place to find the update details?

You're right, releases should be mentioned there to make sure people see them. All releases are however posted in this thread if you want to look over some of the more recent ones. And I'm on windows and I get the same message as you.
