my m8 d/l the files and installed them on his comp cos im only on 56k conection i asked him to put them on a cd for me i got the cd and copied its contents onto my harddrive but i cant do sod all cos i think i need an installer ne 1 hlp?

did he copy the /planeshift folder?
or the install files

planeshift only adds the default path file to the system reg so i cant see how installing would make much difference but im very tired and not thinking straight at the moment so no doubt im going way off. What actually happens when you try to run it?


Cant u just ask him to copy you the run_me_first file with he other 5 install ones? shouldnt take him long to dl em again its only 50mb
