Sim City 4
« on: July 30, 2003, 10:59:38 pm »
My oppinion:
It\'s really hard to build your first city, but once you get the hang of it you\'ll be ok.  Anyway, this game has numerous features, including regions, day and night, cool music, a sweet terrain editing mode, and simcityscape.  Regions let you hook your cities together, and reconcile edges can make your region cool by fuseing the edges of your cities.

-Monketh, yes, I know I can\'t write game reviews

[edit:dunno, but I was playing it on a laptop, so it can\'t be that bad :) ]

The key to manipulative bargaining is to ask for something twice as big as what you want, then smile and nod when you are talked down to your original wish. You are still young, my apprentice, and have much to learn in the ways of the force. -UtM

ooh, I loved all the other  sim games, what are the requirements for the new one?
we are the music-makers, we are the dreamers of dreams - Gene Wilder as willy wonka

Johnny Depp\'s a poser to the throne. No one will ever play the part as well as Gene Wilder

Great game but it is hard to get going. Apparently a multi player function is also available but I have\'nt tried it myself - it would take ages online with someone else and that does not seem very practical.

Anyway, enjoy!

I\'ve never tried SimCityscape myself, however, after viewing a region I think it isn\'t like normal Multi-play.  It seems kinda like region except time slowed and ppl from \'round the world came and played it on your comp.

Yes, let\'s all have a round of appluase for this semi-old yet still well-made and entertaining game :) .  I got it with the 1st Sim City & Sim Isle.

Edit: Well, my region of Monkylvania reached a population of 111,350 today.  The biggest city being Section 33 @ around 35,000; and her supporter Section 32 with 14,000 industrial jobs.  Tyrone is closest with 23,000 and Terrakazzi has 21,375.
