Wait so you are saying that mystical powers make sence when a foundation for a town in the sky does not? put some legend behind it like maybe some really strong wizard decided to punish a town by sending it into the sky of something?

There is a limit to things you can explain by \"mystical powers.\" Besides, I already mentioned that Klyros will not have full flight, so getting to your city-in-the-sky may be a problem.

Do you have any idea how much power would be necessary to make an entire town float?

Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Medieval god? Have you read any of the PlaneShift setting? For some reason that phrase hints at a \'no\' for an answer.. ;)

Again, I agree that a city floating in mid-air would be a cool idea, but unless it has a super-awesome-wow-yet-realistic explanation (beyond \"some magic happened and...\") I just don\'t see it happening, personally.

fine ill make a super fantastic story to explain it.... ahem

a long time ago there was a world wraped around this ours like a big present exept there were people on top living and thriving. except there was an evil king who would asign random endles tasks to unfortunate people. one of these tasks was rock turner over who had to turn every rock in the world over, the poor boy named phil did this for many years until he was 32.. no 34 and turned over a rock only to find a big shiny red button. being a mid-evil  era civilization everything was of course covered in mud, that was jims job. so phil pressed the button and BOOM! the world explodes except for one village that had a really unnecisarilly big wall (which was franks doings) so it survived the big explosion. the people used the stone that was left from the really really big wall to build a stair case down to earth and founded the first town there.

Unfortunately you can\'t \"suggest\" elements of the setting on the Wishlist. All background stories and explanations are controlled by the PlaneShift Settings team, and stories that are already posted and made known to the public have absolutely zero chance of being used.

Moreover, please go read the main website before suggesting anything relating to the world.

*edit* ... I can\'t help it. Did you seriously think that story would work? :P
