block_size: 8192
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Mounting maps:.
Segmentation fault

Note: no core file is generated
im using Planeshift V0.2.010 on Mandrake 9.1.

Umm... would you mind telling us how?

I have to run the client once with \"-relight\" to get it to run at all, and it still crashes all the time when I\'m using OpenGL.  Is the Linux client this flaky for everyone, or is it a problem with my setup (Gentoo, glibc 2.3.2-r1, xfree 4.3.0-r2, Radeon 8500 with xfree-drm drivers)?

the client sometimes segfaults, and sometimes just runs file endlessly. I have no clue, why it behaves that way.
It shouldn\'t be a setup problem, since I\'m using pretty much the same distribution, thogh my Desktop is powered by an nvidia gf3 ti200. Maybe there are some instabilities with the dri module ?

Hmmm... seems that my hardware is flaking out on me.  Free hint: if your client is crashing all the time, try disabling all the stuff like \"AGPFastWrite\" and \"EnablePageFlip\" in your XF86Config file.  Big improvement.  Then send me some new RAM and a new video card, dammit.

That said, Planeshift looks jaw-droppingly amazing in 1280x1024x30fps.
