Help With Downloading

When I go to the downloading page and I try downloading part one it\'ll take me to this page with all sorts of gobble dee gook, as such as  (?w?s{?)    is it some form of alien writings?! or is it my computer breaking down on me!? I really need to know what the heck is goin on! Is this normal!?

Errrrrrrrrrg! One more thing now, I just downloaded the game and when I was trying to make a character and found that any name I chosen had \"already been chosen.\" Whats up with that?

Its important that you dont use any spaces, no BIG letters, and no \' is allowed :)

uuhm Caldazar, the problem he is having is that every name he tries is taken.
He isn\'t experiencing problems with spaces or invalid characters.

So that post wasn\'t really necessary...... oh whatever.
