A little story about a mage, not necessarily in Planeshift.

Night, moonless night, dark like a dungeon with only the starlight to see by. In the distance you see a light, a very bright light. Magically created the light floats above a man, from what you see he is probably a wizard. As you come closer, you see the man has brown hair and is dressed in a brown robe. You now see his face and he looks to be about twenty years of age. He notices you, stops walking and in a blink of an eye creates a small bright ball hovering above his hand before shouting \"Who are you?\". You now realise that you are unable to talk and so you try to show that you are a friend by raising your hands. This was a mistake as the wizard takes your movement as an attempt to cast a spell. The little ball flying over his hand starts to grow and you realise what is happening, you pull your longsword out of its scabbard and start running toward the wizard. Seeing you charging at him with sword in hand causes the wizard to cast his uncompleted fireball in your direction. The blazing ball of fire flies as true as an arrow towards but as you try to dodge out of its path the fireball turns and continues closing. You feel a terrible pain bloom and your whole body flashes with an intense pain as you realised that the fireball has struck true.
The Wizard looking with mercy in his eyes from a distance watches the screaming man lying on the ground as he burned as bright as a torch. As he watched he was thinking why the man was so stupid to attack a wizard alone. A few seconds passed and the screaming slowly subsided as the figure stilled. The disgusting smell of burnt flesh filled the air causing the wizard to leave the seen of devestation and continue on his quest, a quest of death, danger and fate.
