Installation problem
« on: November 01, 2003, 06:23:49 pm »
I am running Windows XP Professional and I downloaded all 5 parts and the assembler but after I assembled the file and built the PlaneShiftV0.2.010.exe but, when I run it it gives me the following error...

-----------------------------------------------
Installer corrupted or incomplete

This could be the result of a failed download or corruption from a virus.

If desperate, try the /NCRC command line switch (NOT recommended)
-----------------------------------------------

I downloaded the md5sum program to assure that the files downloaded correctly, however when I run it, it flashes and exits automatically which makes it immpossible for me to read what it says.

Any help would be appericated, thanks.

You must understand how to use the md5sum.exe program.
For it to work you\'ll need to execute it with the file you want to check.

Open up a DOS prompt and go to your dir where you downloaded your ps files.
Now run the md5sum.exe with the file you want to check (ex. md5sum psv0.2.010.part1)

hope it helps.
