Wrong user name and passwork
« on: December 24, 2003, 03:21:53 am »
Ok, I tried logging in after creating my character and such, then I got the message:

\"Wrong user name and password\"

even though it\'s the same user name and password I use in dozens of other forums and games.  Can anyone help me with this?

LOL!  \"Passwork\"  LMAO...this bodes ill for me.

It\'s not because I made a typo entering my password and user name.  I promise!

Go here:

...and check to see if your account is valid. If not, you\'ll have to delete it (using the above link) and re-create it. Something may have gone wrong during the creation process, see.

To make sure it doesn\'t happen a second time, disable any firewall you may be using or allow UDP traffic through port 13331. Also, use the Quick Creation button to speed things up. You don\'t want to spend more than a minute creating your character, as the link to the server may get dropped.

Don\'t worry, creating a character doesn\'t matter much at this point anyway. The only thing you need worry about is its appearance.

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks, I already checked to make sure the account was valid and it was.  The game just won\'t let me log in under the user name and password I have.  Keeps saying that one or the other is incorrect.

Guess I\'ll just cancel that account and make a new one since I\'m attached to the user name.

Thanks for the info!
