Are you running a firewall?
If so, make sure you allow UDP traffic through port 13331.

Hmm well, could be on your ISP\'s end. But I\'m not so sure about that.

Is your firewall on a router? If so, you could try connecting your pc directly to the internet (without the router in between).
If you can connect that way, then it surely is the router causing you troubles.

Worth a shot I\'d say..

You could also try connecting with the IP (203.81.47.74) instead of the hostname.

When you say wireless cable connection do you mean a wireless router?  If you do have a wireless router, it will have a firewall built in (same as a wired router) and you will have to enable UDP traffic on the router itself.
(Usually under a security/gaming tab on your router settings page).

What I got is a linksys cable router connected to the main comp (which lets me run Planeshift) and then on my comp I have a linksys wireless network adapter which wont let me run PlaneShift. If you could please help me it would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a linksys router, here is what to do...

Goto: http://192.168.1.1/
That is probably your router\'s network address. Now enter your account username(with your Internet Service Provider, or the one you registered) and enter the password as \"admin\" without the \"\" marks.

Click the \"Advanced\" Tab. After the page loads, click the \"Forwarding\" Tab.

Now pick one of the boxes that appears(the first empty one). There should be a bunch of weird stuff like \"Customized Applications\", \"Ext.Port\", \"Protocal TCP\", \"Protocal UDP\", \"IP Address\", \"Enable\".

Enter the following Information:

Ext.Port:   13331 To 13331
Protocal UDP:    Checked
Enable:              Checked
IP Address:    Your network IP address.(Which comp it forwards to)

How to get your network address:
1) Click \"Setup\" Tab to return to first menu area.
2) Click \"DHCP\" Tab.
3) Click \"DHCP Clients Table\" button to see clients list.(ALl connected computers)
4) Under your computer\'s system name, it will list your network IP address.

Hope this helps. :))

I set that up on the router? Or on my comp on the wireless adapter?

Going to that web address brings you to a control panel for your router, in your internet browser.

Your username, I assume, would be the one you registered under with your Internet Service Provider(ISP). Your Router stores that name and uses it when it sends/requests information to/from your ISP.
