Hey, the planeshift project looks very nice (at least i\'m very impressed with the screenshots), but it doesn\'t seem to be working properly. Perhaps if I tell you what\'s happened somebody could give me a hand?
I\'ve downloaded the latest release yesterday, and the first thing I did was run the Update program, as it says in the newbie instructions on the forums. But it couldn\'t seem to connect. Heres the error message I got (in the black dos prompt box):

I\'m not absolutely sure why this is, but I figured that scince I only downloaded it yesterday it would be a fair bet that I had the latest version already. So I started up the program and made a character (I know about the time out thing, and I made it very quickly each time), but that doesn\'t seem to be working either. I\'m getting this error:
\"The server is not running or is not reachable. Please visit the site or the forums for more info.\"
And so here I am. You\'ll proberbly need more info about my system, i\'m running a P4 2.6Ghz with a Geforce graphics card and windows 2000, so its fast enough to take it.
I\'ve already tried using the IP address instead, but that hasn\'t made any difference.
Anyhow, it looks like I need some help. Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, i\'m also not running a firewall right now, so thats not the problem.
