*sigh*
You people just don\'t get it, do you?
From the Planeshift Licence:
You may not copy, modify, publish, transmit, sell, participate in the transfer or sale or reproduce, create Derivative Works from, distribute, perform, display or in any way exploit any of the Material released under this License unless expressly permitted by the PlaneShift Team.
What you seem to be misunderstanding, is that you can do the following:
1) Create your *own* set of rules (not derived from PS rules)
2) Create your *own* artwork (not derived from PS artwork)
3) Create your *own* 3D models (not derived from PS 3D models)
4) Create your *own* dialogue/text (not derived from PS dialogue/text)
5) Create your *own* music/sounds (not derived from PS music/sounds)
6) Distribute your own game using the PS engine, following the remaining rules and conditions of the licences
...NOT modify bits and pieces of PS and use them, *even if it\'s only for your client and no one else\'s*
EDIT: However, I *believe*, but am not totally sure, that you can create, say, your own entirely new dwarf skin and use it, as long as it does not contain anything from the original skin. But you\'ll have to confirm this with the devs.
I hope this clears things up for everyone
