Cards

There are 36 cards, each player gets 6.

There are 6 Ways and 3 Stats - Crystal (charisma), Azure (will), Blue (intelligence), Red (will), Brown (intelligence), and Dark (charisma).

There are 6 steps in a ladder - creature, apprentice, familar, adept, elemental, master.


Combinations:

-Ladder of all the same Way (ie. Azure Ladder)

-Ladder

-2,3,4,5,6 of the same step

-2 Fold Path (all same stat)

etc.


Conclusions:

Considering the Stats may be too much info - you could do without it.

It might be good to make the ladder longer or shorter to make things more nteresting statistically.

On the subject of statistics and probability, the number of hands for this system is 1,947,792. I\'d tell you more but it\'s late and my brain is tired

eh its too similar to poker in my oppinion... maybe if you changed the names of some of the combinations then people wouldnt notice it and would like it more overall...

I meant this suggestion more as a starting point for a non-battle type game - so please feel free to modify things as you see fit.
