Question of stats and their effect on Spells
« on: February 02, 2004, 09:42:16 pm »
I have read the creation guide, however I still do not fully understand how certain stats will effect spells in the game.

for example
Will: I am wondering will this stat increase the effectivness?  such as a critical hit, heal, ect...

I did look in the search on this as well.  No results came up.

I am not asking for a uber amount of info on this.  Any information on this that will help us casters to create a more balanced caster would be helpful.  Thanks.

ex.  I am a crystal wizard (Healer)   Charisma is the main stat for us.   so I maxed my Charisma and then due to old table top game habits I looked at this Will stat and thought to myself  Will=Wisdom.  If this is true I would like to max this stat also.   But the stats part does not read like that in the creation phase so I put stats in str and other stats.

Thank you for not Flaming in advance.   Answers not scorn pave the way to a better gamming community.  8)

Chances are is that we are still working out the details of this ourselves so that is why there are not many answers at this point.   There will be a lot of balancing to do over the life of Crystal Blue and we will try to make sure all things balance out.
