what are the minimum system requirements for planeshift (windows version)?

There are no official system requirements for PS. However, it\'s a good idea to have at least 256mb RAM and +500mhz processor.

If you\'re running on WindowsXP, I\'d advise 512mb RAM or better.


Of course, the reason there are no official system requirements is because it differs from person to person. Some people can happily run the game on very old systems with less than 256mb RAM. Some people with top of the range specs (1gb RAM, 3GHz processor etc) experience more lag than mediocre machines. It\'s all down to pure luck whether you yourself will experience good or bad framerates.

but what about graphics cards? (or do you even need one?)

and what screen sizes does it accept? ie 000x000

For Crystal Blue ( our upcomming release ) I would recommend a fairly recent graphcis card. I use an ATI 9700 here and it works very well.  Screen sizes should be 640x480 800x600 1024x768

i know nothing about ATI graphics cards how many megabytes graphics card would be the minimum?
BTW: how big is PlaneShift in megabytes? (or is it over a gigabyte?)
