what is the best character a noobie should start out with

hehe there really is no answer for that question, do u want to fight up close, nuke people with spells, summon, or do all of um?

I believe that the best character is the one that suits the player\'s style the best.  SO, think about what you want to be and in which areas you will be specialicing, and then read carefully the descriptions and skills of each race.  That\'s how I decided which character I am going to play.
I think that asking for another players which is the best character is a big mistake, since they look at the races and skills from their own point of view, and pay attention to different things.

and uhm yeah about your question, you have to understand that we are all newbies =/
each character is diffrent, so u cant know which one is \"best for a newbie\".
this is not runescape where u can only do 2 things.
this is a huge game (will be) where u can do alot of things
first u need to decide your role, then see the game develop and by so picking the character which you find best suitable for you

well in my opinion that \"warrior\" will be easiest to train and i know will be the best in the game.(like any other game)   . But i am still gonna go with \"mage\" because I am usualy the person thats nuking every1 with spells anyway.And plus mage if the PS team is smart.Magic will deal out the most damage with higher spells.(ex. meteor strike )

For me ,

I dont mind not being the strongest. I wanna be strong but i will not focus on that.

I like to produce things , like when  you smith ar craft gems etc. so i think that will be one of th e main things i will do.

Then , i also love to role play , being a part of the storie , to do so i will be traveling and doing quests.
