Why is it more valid to insist that your ideal mate is smart than that they are attractive?  You are merely looking for good offspring-material and being well-formed physically is a valid thing to want for your kids.  Anyway, I think most of us understand that this thread is about the physical aspects because things like being sweet and smart and honest and compatible are a given.

although vengence has spoken i have a bit to dissagree with there. compatibility isnt really a given. i would say good looks really are more of a given. some people dont completly like compatablity as it gives and edge or spark to their relationship taht stirs things up. sometimes as they say, opposites attract.

actually im quite the opposite. usualy i look at a girl and think \"dang she fine\" then i talk to her for 3 minutes and she already seems less atrractive, maybe in personality, but somtimes also in physical traits. i dont know maybe im wierd that way...

All the above that you guys mention are part of the theroy of evolution now iam a big fan of darwin and if you want to agrue evolution with me, we can do it till the cows come home ! any way materialisum (sp) over rights this basic law
truth is if there was a rich 90 year old dying person and a Poor but hot 20 year old  we would choese the 90 year old dying person some goes for you girls ! (then when the old persons dies the smart ones will re-marry)
