The media that says that games corrupt kids do it because their focus group is ignorant people that think that.
Anyone who plays games (and many people who don\'t) know that games don\'t cause people to go and shoot other people.
When someone plays GTA he won\'t go off and shoot his friends unless he got a peanutted up brain. And those with a peanutted up brain will do it anyways, with GTA or without it...

Besides, the media lies all the time, tells half truths, and is more corrupted than any government. Accepting things that are said by the media just like that is wrong.

I completly agree with you but some of the stuff in the gta seires is excessive (funny but excessive) and while i know that the media will target anything that they are paid to we dont have to give them suck a large dayglo-trumpets-and-announcer target.  Almost all of the pionts that they bring up against video games are proven in that one title, and most americans are too lazy to look for their own answers so because this game proves it takes what the media says at face value.

I\'m just sick of all the bs.
I do play the game and I am looking forward to it, but I wonder if the game is worth all the flak that video games and gamers in general are taking for it.

once again, I say it. F**k the media, they can say whatever they want about us and games in general, that won\'t make it true. GTA is a quality line, and they shouldn\'t censor themselves just so that the media will be satisfied. They have a rating system specifically so that younger gamers don\'t get ahold of these games, and so the makers have no responcibility if an immature tweek gets ahold of it and can\'t handle the difference between fantasy and reality.

Who cares what the media say. If GTA is censored because of it then just download it :D And then pretend the pedestrians are members from these companies. Have fun ;)

Im pretty sure of it :).
Fortunately the media in Holland isn\'t so obesessed with protecting children from sex and violence as they are in the USA. The way they responded to the uncovered breast of Janet Jackson was totally ridiculous.

While I don\'t support bush I\'d like to see many of the people who critisize our president (whoever it may be) take a whack at his job...

except for one problem, due to the electorial college, my vote really doesn\'t matter, that was proven quite firmly when the people voted gore in but bush won the electorial and therefore the election in general. I\'ll tell you, the people might be stupid, but in that  election, they voted for the right man!
