server problem

when i make my char and hit \"upload\" button nothing happens.  And when i try to connect it says \"server is down\" or something like that, and it wont even let me chose the server......whats up with this?

Perhaps the server is down. Check the status at the top of these forums, or at http://planeshift.fragnetics.com

A firewall/router may be blocking traffic being sent/received to and from your client. Disable your firewall, or allow UDP traffic through port 13331.

Btw, make sure the server field says \"planeshift.fragnetics.com\". You\'ll actually just see it from \"ift.fragnetics.com\" because the field is too small to display the whole line.




(You know, I\'ve never actually known whether to say \"UPD\" or \"UDP\"... nobody ever tells me it\'s wrong though, and I know I\'ve written it both ways several times now. LoL. )

Its UDP.  The only other option is TCP, so I\'m sure most people know what you mean
