What is the idea behind this all and how can you help, if you want to know, keep on reading.

The Idea:

About half a year ago, Monketh came up with a rough idea for a guild, it started out as a merchant\'s guild, eventually that idea became a marketplace ( after i did some stuff that actually wasn\'t supposed to happen ) and Monketh\'s Tavern & Merchant Association was born.
Due to some inactivity on my part and not being able to find a good server to host the site on the group died.

But the idea itself is a great idea, a marketplace where people come together to trade places, Planeshifts very own Ebay. But to get this done i need some help, the rates for buy and sell, we have to make some money out of it to be able to sell things cheap, alot of factors that need to be tought trough carefully.

So basicly the idea is a marketplace formed as a website where you can check who sells what and how much it costs.

Guilds will get a discount on products after buying a discount card and guild members will have the same discount, single players ( not in a guild ) will have to pay the normall price, or they can buy a discount card from the store.

Next to that there will be a bank, a place where you can store your cash, an easy way to see how much you have and a save place to store it.

This all brings me to the second part, how can i help

How can i help:

The more people that want to help to make this big the better, My idea is to get this done before CB comes out, which will be in our advantage.

There are numerous of ways in which you can help, i allready posted this in the mtma thread under the guilds section but i\'ll repost it here for the ease.

Webdevelopment skills : php,asp,sql,js,java,cf,xml,xhtml etc etc if you have proper knowledge about any of these languages you can help in the biggest part of the creation.

Organisation skills : MA needs rules, numbers on prices, in other words a system, the development will build what you come up with.

Graphicall designer : one of the most important parts is the graphics, if the store works but looks bad, people won\'t come, if it looks good and works bad, people won\'t stay, so these have to cooperate, if you are a great designer, join in and help us out.

Leaders : Offcourse we need people that check up on all the parts, so if you think you are capable of leading a group of programmers or designers, come in, take a cup of coffee, and lets discuss business.

Finall:

For the people interested in this project, post below, we will check what you can do, and we might hire you, although you will work for free, eventually you might be able to buy things from MA with a 100% discount, now isn\'t that nice .

I think your idea is really good and you have my full support...
When you say you look for graphics designers...how good designers are you talking about. Cuz using photoshop has become a passion lately and I am a very active player. Lemme know if I can help out in any way

oke, i think you will be a valuable addition to the team, as soon as i hear something from theredmonk, i will discuss the way it should look, although i think you will create a great design and i will give you the file with all the spec\'s in it, i\'ll also give the developers my source of the current mtma, although it is asp i think you will understand it a bit.

Well i found a descent host to put MA on.

I\'m still seeking a better host but this will have todo atm

webbased FTP ( it\'s hard to find one with a normall ftp option )

we allready have a webdeveloper, but i know from past experience you can never have to much of those so if you want to help out, you are free to join, we also have a graphicall designer, but we need atleast 1 or 2 more of those, since it\'s hard to create everything yourself, so if you want to help out, show it below this post and we will happilly welcome you in the team.

Well because off the project we are starting out, i created a bugtracker page, i\'m hoping it will be sued by you guys that are not on the dev team, and i hope i will eventually get it set up on a decent server.

so go ahead check it out, and please don\'t place any pointless crap in there will ya it only clutters the whole thing up.

next to that, if you choose to post something, please post everything you did that created the bug, try to tell as good as possible what you did, with wich browser version and if you where logged in in the site or not, and if it was a different problem, state that also.

Terms of Service
1) User takes full responsibility of contents stored on their web account ftp.
User agrees that they will not host illegal, harmful or any content that the
host company Clawz.com considers as to contributing to anything illegal, harmful
or warez activities. If the user is found in violation of this ordinance then
Clawz.com can either back up the content and suspend the account or erase the
content and terminate the account with the user with out prior warning.
2) Clawz.com does not support nor condone the users products, claims or views
that are posted on the site. Clawz.com does not discriminate against any
particular belief, lifestyle, faction, religion and/or culture and does
recognize the freedom of speech act set forth by the United States constitution
from where our hosting services are provided and reside.
3) User agree that Clawz.com will do everything to make sure that the service
provided is at its best at all times. But agrees that there is occasional down
time due to black outs, brown outs, maintenance, hacker attacks, upgrades either
directly or indirectly affecting the hosted services. Clawz.com does promise
that there will be a 24 hour notice sent to all account owners e-mail before all
scheduled down time and will be back up as soon as soon as viably possible. A
notice will also be posted on the private forums as well that are available at
Clawz.com for all registered users.
4) If a site is overly active and goes beyond what Clawz.com considers normal
bandwidth usage then Clawz.com will notify the account owner and inform them of
the sudden spike in activity. If the activity stays at a constant high rate that
starts to restrict bandwidth to the other user accounts then Clawz.com will
contact the account in question and talk about raising the monthly hosting costs
to compensate for their high usage of the internet feed.
5) Users agree that they are not to host files not related directly with their
services and/or site that will be used as a MIRROR \"A file backed up on the
users FTP that is linked to a OFF HOST web site for downloads\". This is
considered abuse to our unlimited bandwidth policy and will receive a warning
about the incident. If the incident occurs a second time after the first warning
then Clawz.com can either suspend or terminate the users account. All site
content will be backed up if terminated. If files in question are found to be
breaking the first statement in this agreement then the files may be erased with
out warning by Clawz.com.
6) User agrees that Clawz.com takes no responsibility of their site content if
it is tampered with, erased, moved, etc by persons found to have abstained the
users account information that was provided by the user. The user is responsible
for backing up their site regularly as problems do occur even in rare incidences
that include but is not limited to file degradation, hosting hard drive failure,
hacked account, down time, accidental erasure by the user, etc.
7) User recognizes that the policies can be changed or altered at any time by
Clawz.com. Changes will be posted on the private forum accessible at Clawz.com
for registered users.
