Well, the race stats are not the definitive ones.  So they could be changed.  Although I have to agree that the Stonebreakers\' intelligence is too high if we compare it to the Dermorian\'s (Stonebreakers have +2, and Dermorians have +1).

I was also wondering, what does \"Will\" do? Enkidukai have +3 in it, so I wanted to know.

the only reason i said anything was to give you guys an idea of the way we are planning things. that way you don\'t feel so far in the dark about everything. also it helps to not have people think wrongly of a concept and have that run them off.

about the combat how will that play? is it point and click or does it involve more skill?

The way I understand it, combat will be a little of both.

a) Combat needs to be based on skill points, AC, weapon used, etc. and not on finger twitch speed or ping times, so it will be based on time and stats as opposed to detailed keystrokes.

b) OTOH, you will probably be able to vary the \"moves\", \"styles\", or \"combinations\" you use when meleeing.  Some of these will be better than others.  This means that if all you do is press one key and wait to auto-fight, you will fight sub-optimally.

ummmm ok sounds good,  in that case which reminds me i wanted to know if its not to late or possible to allow the user to have an option whether or not they want to auto fight (another thing that hasn\'t been done in any mmorpg, which probably isn\'t possible)

meaning they can give their character a set of commands like attack, defend ..ect... and allow the user to press a button to attack or dogde or parry..... even if \"twitch play\" play is being used i think combat can still be based on skill points by lets say your atk power isn\'t much and so if you control your attacks you would have to give a significant more ammount of hits then normal....

am thinking if you where auto-fighting your character wont stand a chance, but if you have full control over your movements you could still have a fighting chance its just that winning that fight won\'t be the easiest thing you ever did (basically you would have to fight more strategically since your enemey is stronger) ...

or if it was pvp your opponent  may be using the auto-fight ability which i think is great in one way and bad in other..... if one person is using auto-fight that means there character is limited to doing one or 2 things attack or use magic and attack attack attack.......  vs someone that has full control over there character meaning they can switch up there attacks or escape easily if their not winning, it would be like fighting an npc in a way .....

what all this blabber is saying basically is that would it be possible to combine both style of combat and let the user choose whether they want to auto-fight (let their character fight for them) or if they want to take full control and decide...... also when lag is concern ive notice that auto-fighting can be just as bad as relying on \"finger twitch speed\"  anyway i was jus wondering and hope i was clear
