pop-ups
« on: May 09, 2004, 12:05:22 am »
I know this has nothing to do with PS but it annoys me when I browse this website as well as other pop-up free websites like google.com. I get pop-ups after closing internet explorer or even when I\'m not using it.  After I close this pop, another one pop-ups, and so on. The pop-ups range from luggage ads screensavers to \"we have detected... this and this\".  Ive tried pop-blockers, but they dont apply to this particualr pop-ups.

Pls need help. Im suffering from popupritis

PS\'s site got no pop ups, you\'re infected with adwares. Download Ad-Aware and run it.

I have copies of [Windows] 3.1, 3.11, 95, and 98, too. Not to mention various versions of MS-DOS

interent explorer? ugh...you should really take a look at mozilla firefox. I use it and i have never had a popup, and its got lots of other nifty options, like tab browsing and themes. It transfers your IE favorites/bookmarks too.

Download purityscan from http://www.purityscan.com

Thats a realy good program  :]

(It gaves you like 20 popups an hour, you won\'t be able to play any games like PS or Ut etc.)

In case you couldn\'t tell, Toadhead is joking.

Do NOT download purityscan.
