If your choice of name isn\'t accepted on the first try, it is generally believed that you become Linkdead, and any subsequent attempts will fail, even if the name is valid. You will need to reload the game to try more than once.
Please be aware that no \"special\" characters, or spaces, or numbers, are allowed in names, and that over 200k names have already been used.
