Well, i ran the \'run_me_first\' thing, (obviously downloaded all the files) then i started installing, and it installs for a few secs then gives me this: \'error opening file for writing C:\\planetshift\\planeshit\\pfnpcdialog.dll\'
and i get the choice to abort retry or ignore. I tried ignore then it worked, but when i came to the menu screen thing and went to click \'create\' it comes up with a windows error saying that the psclient has caused an error in such \'a such and that they\'re sorry for any convinience (like anyone belives THAT hehe). Anyway, any help y\'all could give me would be just spiffing, thakns in advance :)

Hey, One suggestion I may post is make sure the hard drive has enough room for the game. If your running low on space that may have caused it.

Also try disabling any anti-virus software you may be running. It might not like the file

Have you made sure that all the parts are the correct size? try using the MD5 checksum tool to verify the file parts?

http://www.planeshift.it/download/md5sum.exe

If they are the right size, try re-running the .bat script, otherwise try redownloading all parts

I\'m assuming you didn\'t copy & paste the error message as you\'re giving it a really interesting path name :
C:\\planetshift\\planeshit

The game\'s name is PlaneShift. Plane. Shift. :P

Sorry, I\'m just being unhelpful.
