Mafia (A card game)
« on: July 21, 2004, 02:25:43 am »
For 2-7 Players.

Monketh\'s House Rules:
The Newbie always goes first.
If an opponent allows you to see his hand (accidentally, or on purpose), it is not cheating.
You may shuffle your hand at any time.

Each player is dealt a hand of five cards.
The player whose turn it is will pick an opponent\'s card and lay it face down on the table.
The player will then lay his card face-up.
After which, the opponent\'s card will be flipped.
The player with the higher-value card is the winner, and will place the winning card face-up in front of him/her.
The losing card will be placed in the discard pile.  (Can be reshuffled as the deck if you run out of cards.)
In the event of a draw, both cards will be discarded.

Elimination:
If, on your last card, you are the winner, you may draw as many cards as you have face-up on the table.
If, on your last card, you are the loser, you are eliminated from the game.  All of your cards will be placed in the discard pile.

It was rather popular with my friends when I made it up last week. :P
The key to manipulative bargaining is to ask for something twice as big as what you want, then smile and nod when you are talked down to your original wish. You are still young, my apprentice, and have much to learn in the ways of the force. -UtM
