"Online Games a Massive Pain"

Just thought this recent wired.com article might be an interesting read amongst the spam ;) Just shows how even the big boys with deep pockets can struggle in this mmog business. Also goes to show just how well the PlaneShift team are doing... although there\'s a long way yet.

Its sad to see games like Warhammer and Earth and Beyond get cancled i hought they where really cool. (maybee they need to advertise the games more)

It is easier to hate than it is to love.

Earth and Beyond was worthless, EVE is better in so many ways.
Browsing the forums when I\'m bored, nothing more.

Well I\'ve not played Earth and Beyond, but what is EVE? Earth and Beyond looked like an online version of VegaStrike which is a free space flight/combat/bounty hunting/trading/exploration game that I found while browsing Sourceforge.net . The only problem with it is it does\'nt have multiplayer function yet.
