Another Planeshift themed game?

I\'m coding a game which is an Arkanoid clone (you know, with paddle, ball and bricks). When I noticed the thread about this Mario clone you\'re developing I got an idea of doing the same with my game (geez, I\'m never original:rolleyes: ). What do you think?

sounds nice you might want to use crysatals in stead of a break smashing ball

Sounds like a cool idea. Perhaps it could be added to Planeshift later as a mini-game you can play while the game is loading. :D

Arkanoid\'s such a cool game...  It sounds like a great idea to me!  

The powerups could be from different coloured bricks, and each one could represent one of the Ways of magic in Planeshift.  So different coloured bricks could give different types of powerup.  (Like red could make ball red-hot to go through more bricks, etc.)   8)

And it would be nice to have something to do while Planeshift is loading.  :D  Although I usually use that time to grab some unhealthy snacks to devour while I hunt for crystals...

Just think of what a minigame could do for my health!    :P

Sounds cool.:] I don\'t know how exactly the game will look yet, so feel free to share your ideas.
You can also send me some backgrounds/powerups/other graphics when you\'re bored, because I\'m not good with these things.

It would be tricky, because my programming style is horrible. Merging it with Planeshift would do nothing but crash it. :rolleyes:

I can make this game alone, but then it\'ll suck. So any help is welcome.

Very cool Entamis, I like it :D

Just a couple things:
- Why does the paddle at the bottom bounce off the walls when you move it fast to the edge?  Seems kinda annoying to me, but maybe you made it that way for a reason :)
- If you could add some sound/music that would be awsome

Uh... Sorry guys, but it seems I overestimated my programming skills. I\'ll be rewriting the whole thing almost from scratch, so don\'t expect the next version anytime soon. :(
