Ways to fix, i had this problem at different times, and these are the things that caused it:
1. Not enough RAM
2. How much HD space do you have? If you dont have enough it will do that.
3. Weak PSU (I had this problem when my PSU wouldnt was\'nt powerful enough for my Radeon9800pro)
4. Card not compatible with Driver.
5. Card not compatible with version of DirectX. (If im not mistaken GF4 is a DX7.0 card.

If i were you, i would get a new comp prety soon... and yes, i know you\'re not made of money.

Q: How many Planeshifters does it take to expalin a simple concept to a newb?
A: Six. Five to argue on who\'s explanation is right, and Moogie to lock the thread.

Is it overheating? Check to make sure the gpu fan is clear of dust.
Here\'s something else to try if you completely run out of options: Go into your bios (press del while booting) and try dropping the AGP speed from 8x to a lower setting, like 1x. I had a mysterious problem with my GF2 and this fixed it, for unknown reasons.  Just a thought.

...And if those don\'t work, try posting on a more suitable forum. :) There are always help/troubleshooting boards for major companies like GeForce these days, and if not, there are many communities banded together on the net to help solve people\'s technical issues.

i got some funnt news on that :P
at school we use wildcat cards, they are 64 Mb but they play the game smoother ( while the pc\'s lack any part of being better then mine ) then my pc which is like twice of everything what\'s in there :S
so if you want something ( and if you have enough cash :P ) try that card or atleast search for it so you can see what the cards do :P.
