I kind of thought the sticky thread at the top called ABOUT LINK DEAD covered most of this. Please read the sticky posts or search before posting topics that have already been discussed a million times.

The \"tip\" you suggested has a net effect of 0, as that should be the servername already entered in the box. There is no conclusive answer or \"fix\" for linkdead-ness, since linkdead is a fairly all-purpose message for whenever the connection with the server is initialized and unexpectedly broken, or that is my understanding.

Long story short, if you think you have the solution, in all probability you don\'t.

as i was saying yo have to re write whats in the box dont ask me i created 2 guys and they both work but they didnt work when i did nothing trust me try creating another player and dont touch anything exactly now try with rewriting it

Re-writing the exact same text in the box cannot under any possibility be the solution to any problem. Check the stickied threads that are already here for the real tips and solutions.

IIRC, planeshift.gamiii.com or something is the standard name if you haven\'t ran the updater
