When exactly does it freeze? If it freezes when it says \"initializing world\" - this can happen, look around on the forums a bit.
There\'s no actual solution, just patience is needed. :)

i run it on
win XP
AMD Athlon 750mhz
geforce 4 mxx440 SE 64mb
640 ddr ram
100mbps network card connected through a 54mbps router
then connects to a 700kb/s modem
mine lags, takes awhile to intitalize sometimes
and notoriusly can get me stuck in places for a few weeks

all i need to do is upgrade my cpu and it should be fine

sometimes you just gotta let it sit on intitialize screen for a few hours, maybe its rdlin the lighting liek it does with some pc\'s after each hour or so try pressing \'m\' a few times thisa will change your view in game and refresh the picture. sometimes it forgets to show you ;)

my spare system (my much better 1 is geting fixed up,stupid spywere!)is:

Win 98,Pen 3, 667 cpu,8 mb ASP 3d video card and 128 mb RAM.

just wanted to know if its worth trying out the game before i get my new one fixed up cos i have downloaded it and tryed it out in safe mode(normal says need 3d accelarate card or somethin like that) and as soon as i get to instlizing world it says not responding on the CTRL+ALT+DELL window. so can u just tell me wether its worth it or not to play now or wait.

thx :D

Might or might not run. Lowest system I got it too run on was an 800 mhz with 1gb of ram and an old ge force 3. Haven\'t tried it on anything else slower then that. One thing you want to make sure of though is if it is the first time you are loading the world do not Hit CTRL + ALT + DELETE or anything. With the current version your very first load can take up to 2 hours to load.
After the first load it should go much faster if your system will run it.

Well, that is not a good test, as it takes a long time on some system to get past the initializing world. (IE up to two hours, and yes it will say not responding). You just have you leave it sit for that time.

Although I doubt that system will run it well, PS takes quite a bit of RAM, >256MB is usually what most people need to run it, as well as an 8MB video card is pretty small nowadays.
