I believe that they had other things to transfer other than just the characters, they also might need to test the process.  I do not know because I am not dev and will not question the devs because they are the ones that hold CB right now.

Devs are the greatest! They are my heros! I want to be a dev when I grow up! (or when I just finish learning some more programming language)  Three cheers for the devs in earnest though, without them we would not have a CB to be going mad over! :D

Haha just my luck, I find this great MMORPG just as the servers have gone down, oh well, I guess I have something to look forward to after Christmas :P

well it is your luck, the new version will be alot better and alot more complete, with a broader range of things to do rather than hunting crystals.  Not that that wasnt fun :P
