Another "Is it free?" question, plz read!

I know this game is free to download and free to play. I also know that this game (according to another forum page) will ALWAYS be free. But (if your like me) i have played MANY so called \"free\" MMORPG\'s and always say they will be free, now and forever. But once they become popular or to expensive to keep up. They always start to charge, if only a small fee. I know how this game is keeped up and how the code is distributed so it can be free. But is it ALWAYS, keyword \"ALWAYS\", be free. I dont want a \"maybe\" or a semi-positive \"it will free, i\'m pretty sure\" I dont mean so sound \"rude\" or so I just want to know that if i start playing this game, i wont have to stop due to \"small fee charges\" Please let me know your thoughts or any hard \"fact\" that you know that it will truly allways \"be free\" no buying \"special items, houses\" or any other gimmeck to get people to fork over money.

Please read the other threads dealing with this topic, as this topic has been raised many a\' time in the past moon.

If you can not find the thread try using search.

And if you did not believe what the devs are saying why should they say again what they have already said a thousand times.

Listen i have searched and read ALL the threads on this subject, went to \"noobs\" sites and other, but none say if it will ALWAYS be free. I understand that dev\'s have brought it up and answered this question many times, MANY. But they all just ssay \"yes it free to download and free to play\" (not excat words) But they never say if it will always be free or if it will ever charge for \"items, buildings, quests, and other gimmecky stuff\" they never say if it will be true for now and int he future. I would just like to know before spending countless hours of gameplay, to find out that they will charge for a \"new area of the world\" just to access new areas. Im not trying to be annoying and if i am im sorry. I would just like to know that. Like i said many games say there free, but once they become popular or overpopulated they either give up ont he project or just say \"where going to start charging due to the excess of players and the popularity of the game\" or come up with some dum excuse.

I\'ll simply will answer...It will be ALWAYS FREE..FOREVER AND EVER...:P...well unless devs are deceiving us and when we will be so addicted to the game they will decide to charge us money...Bah it is the point of the project...to provide high quality FREE MMORPG...

YEAH i know what you mean. Like with runescape! it was free to star with but now it costs $5 a month to play! And the same with many other games!


I think when it gets pop they WILL start charging to play! I mean that is what i would do. Make a really good game thats free then wait till i get about 10,000 members then BAM SMASH OUT OF KNOW WHERE slam down a fee. Then because they have been PLAYING SO LONG THEY START PAYING UP just to keep there year old acct\'s.

I for one think this game will NEVER take off. Its a game made only for comp geeks, Nerds.

So the other people like ME who know nothing about comp\'s dont know how to play it.


And for a faked Most gammers know crap all about comps they just like playing games.


Like with me the game is laggy like hell and i dont know why it is? So i go and ask people for help you know the makers of the game. And they start asking me stuff about my comp and im like huh what the hell are you talking about?

Shadow_Heart: You\'re using your computer arn\'t you? You expect to ask technical question about lag and not have people ask you for your technical details? Dude. You have problems. And quit swearing.



Magus Z: I\'m quite sure you did not read every thread that has ever been created on this subject. Simply put, you would be sitting there for days reading them all. The answer to each and every single one is YES IT WILL ALWAYS BE FREE. If you doubt that, you\'re welcome to leave, just \'to be sure\'. :)
