Reset?

Hello, seeing that my other thread was closed lol I was just wondering if there will ever be a character reset when a \"newer\" or final version of PS ever comes out. This has happened many times before in other free mmorpg\'s and was just wondering if they plan or will do a reset, i can understand for bugs of glitches. If anyone knows thanks for sharing your thoughts :)

Well, the new version (Crystal Blue) just came out, so it\'ll be a while till a newer one comes around.

As for a \"final\" version of PS... that is many years away, methinks.

The developers will wipe the database after the following happens:

All major Linkdead issues are fixed
All bugs relating to items/xp/etc being lost due to Linkdead or other crashes are fixed
Combat, skillraising (etc) have been properly balanced
Item/tria duplication bugs are eliminated

etc.


Basically, they do not want to have to do this twice. They will make sure things are as right as they can be before they even think of wiping. But... they will wipe. That\'s pretty much a certainty at this point. :)

That answers my question very well thank you Moogie :) Now that i know this, it gives me very little reason to play the game, as of now, :( I really dont see the point of further playing the game (even though im only like lvl 5 lol) I guess ill wait until they fix everything and do the first wipe, and hopefully the last. Other than that, i really feel disappointed but i see why they would do that. Uh, i hate starting over so i think ill wait :(

Edit: i know im just a \"tester\" just hate wiping and waiting for a realease they wont clean off completely.

According to the previously mentioned list, the reset should soon commence.  That is of course they choose to follow those guidelines for a reset.
